1. Deposit: A €50.00 deposit must be paid for each Sponsorship Pack. This deposit is non refundable. See Fundraising 1.3
1.1 Contact: The full contact details (name, address, phone number, e-mail address) must be given to Pilot 4 Charity for each person to receive a Sponsorship Pack. The Charity to benefit from fundraising must be nominated.
1.2 Sponsorship Pack: The fundraiser will receive a Sponsorship Pack containing a letter confirming receipt of the deposit and confirmation of what Charity the funds are being raised in aid of. A Pilot 4 Charity Sponsorship Card will be issued with the Fundraisers name and the chosen Charity written or printed on the card, tips on how best to fundraise and a copy of these terms & conditions.
1.3 Fundraising: The allocated period to raise the minimum amount required of
€500.00 (€50.00 Deposit + further €450.00 Sponsorship) is 13 weeks. After 5 weeks of issuing the Sponsorship Card/s, Pilot 4 Charity will contact the fundraiser. This is to establish when the fundraiser will reach their target. If after 13 weeks, the fundraiser has not collected any further funds, Pilot 4 Charity will forward the €50.00 deposit direct to the chosen Charity less an agreed admin charge. If after 13 weeks the fundraiser has not reached the minimum target of €500.00, the Pilot A Helicopter Experience will not take place and all funds raised shall be returned to the sponsors by the fundraiser unless individual sponsors wish the charity to benefit. In this instance All funds received by Pilot 4 Charity will be forwarded directly onto the named Charity without any fee being deducted.
1.4 Pilot Date and Follow Up: Pilot 4 Charity will book the fundraiser into an affiliated Helicopter Centre on a date agreed only when the fundraiser pays a further €200.00 with a view to having the minimum target reached in advance of the Flight date. 10 days prior to the Flight date, the balance of €500.00 must be paid to Pilot 4 Charity. The fundraiser will also pay all funds if any raised above the minimum required of €500.00 collected to this date. The cost of the Helicopter Flight/Lesson, €250.00 will be deducted from the sponsorship raised in full agreement with the Charity.
The Fundraiser will have 2 weeks from the date of their Flight to collect all outstanding sponsored funds and return the Sponsorship card along with all outstanding funds to Pilot 4 Charity.
1.5 Confirmation & Transparency: Pilot 4 Charity will send a letter or email to the Fundraiser, confirming receipt of all funds paid to Pilot 4 Charity along with confirmation that Pilot 4 Charity has forwarded funds onto the Fundraisers chosen Charity less the cost of the Pilot A Helicopter experience and the admin charge (if any) agreed with the charity. If minimum €500.00 is raised, the Charity will receive a minimum of €250.00. Pilot4 Charity will forward payment onto the Fundraisers chosen charity.
1.6 Confidentiality: Pilot 4 Charity confirm they will hold all confidential information concerning Fundraisers in confidence and this to include Credit & Laser Card information which will be only transmitted in encrypted form.
2. Helicopter Centre. The Helicopter Centre is a separate entity and company from Pilot 4 Charity. We accept no liability whatsoever arising from any of the activities the Fundraiser participates in and/or whilst the Fundraiser is on the premises of the participating Helicopter Centre.
2.1 Postponement or Cancellation: Pilot 4 Charity will not be liable for any damage or loss to Fundraiser whereby such damage or loss arises from the actions or non-actions of the participating Helicopter Centre leading to postponement and/or cancellation of any Pilot A Helicopter Activity which has been agreed between the Fundraiser, Pilot 4 Charity and the participating Helicopter Centre.
2.3 Participating Helicopter Centre, Activities, Location and Contact details: Pilot 4 Charity will not be liable for any loss or damage to Fundraiser arising from a change in the participating Helicopter Centre Activities provided, location and/or contact details.
2.4 Age & Weight: Persons must be over 15 years of age. There is no upper age limit. Upper Weight limit is 250 lbs per person. If under 18 years of age, Parent/s written consent must be provided. This may be done on the actual Flight date at the Helicopter Centre when a parent obviously needs to be present.
3. Terms: Pilot 4 Charity reserve the right to modify, amend or change in any way these Terms and Conditions without notification to any other Party.
